Make the Most of Your Summer
Young Californians are an untapped resource as we face the challenges of COVID-19 and an economic recession.
This summer, First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom and Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday are calling on students, teens and young adults (ages 13-25) to support organizations providing essential services to vulnerable communities.
By committing to the #CaliforniansForAll Summer of Service, you can learn about social justice issues and become part of the solution – and receive recognition for your work.
Volunteer and Be Recognized
When you roll up your sleeves to meet this moment you will be recognized as a volunteer, leader or ambassador. The level of recognition you receive is up to you.
Between June 20 and August 31, 2020,* serve the following number of hours to receive the respective recognition:
Volunteer – 10 hours
Leader – 50 hours
Ambassador – 100 hours
