AmeriCorps California members are adults (18+) from all backgrounds. They serve in nonprofits, public agencies, and schools for two to 12 months. As a member, you’ll help the community. You’ll improve students’ education, protect the environment, prepare for disasters, and promote fair health outcomes. You’ll gain leadership skills and enhance your resume. Plus, you’ll receive a living allowance, college funds, and other benefits.
#CaliforniansForAll College Corps fellows are full-time students at participating colleges and universities. They serve with nonprofits, K-12 schools, and public agencies throughout the academic year. As a fellow, you’ll build skills, gain confidence, and earn money for school. You’ll also make a positive difference by tutoring, mentoring, addressing food insecurity, and taking climate action. This program proudly includes eligible AB540 California Dream Act students.
California Climate Action Corps Fellows are adults (18+) who serve for up to 11 months. They work with public agencies, nonprofits, tribal communities, and schools. This program is for emerging climate leaders. It offers hands-on experience in the climate sector. You can lead projects on urban greening, organic waste recovery, and wildfire resiliency. You’ll receive a living allowance, training, certifications, and professional skills while addressing our state’s top environmental issues.
Youth Service Corps members are young people aged 16 to 30 from underserved communities. They gain hands-on experience with public agencies and nonprofits in their cities and counties. As a member, you’ll work on projects that support public services, fight food insecurity, and address climate issues. You’ll earn a living wage and receive essential services and benefits to help you succeed now and in the future while supporting your community.
