quote-mark Public libraries play a critical role in sustainability and climate action by serving as educational hubs, resource centers and leaders in environmental responsibility. Libraries also enhance community resilience by acting as cooling and hydration centers during extreme heat, offering disaster preparedness resources and supporting community gardens to promote local food security.”
