Grant Description

California Volunteers is seeking to expand one eligible program in the Disaster Services focus area to support the California Service Corps Community Resource Navigator Program. The program will engage AmeriCorps members as Community Resource Navigators to connect with residents affected by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires who need assistance finding and applying for recovery resources.

Funds available under this opportunity are awarded on a competitive basis to eligible organizations that adequately address the selection criteria identified in this Request for Applications.

Eligible Applicants

Organizations that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for this opportunity:

• Applicants must be a current recipient of AmeriCorps State funding from California Volunteers under prime grant number 24AFICA002.
• All eligible applicants must propose a program intervention that aligns with the funding priority described in the Request for Applications.  

Application Deadline

All application components must be received by 5:00 pm PT on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
