RFA – 2026 AmeriCorps State Funding Opportunity
Important Update
In response to recent guidance from AmeriCorps, California Volunteers is rescinding the FY 2026 AmeriCorps State Request for Applications (RFA) published on November 20, 2025. As acknowledged in the RFA at the time of publication, the AmeriCorps agency had not released their FY 2026 AmeriCorps State and National Notice of Federal Funding Opportunity (NOFO). California Volunteers released our RFA in anticipation of an imminent AmeriCorps NOFO release. The AmeriCorps agency has requested that all commissions delay Request for Application releases until an AmeriCorps NOFO is published. In accordance, we anticipate releasing a new RFA once we receive the 2026 AmeriCorps NOFO.
